Based on the same goal to actualize Digital Transformation in society, Sisindokom participated in supporting Indosat Ooredo on “Building a 5G-ready Transport Network Infrastructure in West and Central Java (2020).? The 5G service plans to cover all people of West Java and Central Java to support economic recovery in the region.
Ministry of Communication and Informatics, Johnny G. Plate also presented at the inauguration of 5G service in Solo told CNBC Indonesia, “I believe 5G will encourage productivity and national economic growth, due to its prime technology. Although 4G is still the foundation of digital transformation in Indonesia, we expect that this first stage commercialization of 5G can contribute to actualize the national vision of becoming a digital powerhouse in the region. Let us ensure that the presence of 5G service will bring variety benefits to the nation and have a significant impact on economic recovery.”
Considering high demand for data services and to continue the 5G revolution in Indonesia, Indosat Ooredoo plans to expand the commercial rollout of 5G services to other major cities in Indonesia.
