The 20th National Sports Week (PON) was held last year in Papua with 37 sports competing. PON as one of the prestigious events in Indonesia, especially in sports. The success of PON Papua cannot be separated from various parties who support and are directly involved in this event, one of which is infrastructure.
PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk collaborate with Sisindokom in “Providing and Installation of Internet Service Provider (ISP) Support PON PAPUA”. In this project, Sisindokom provides full support related to the infrastructure and internet network devices used for the implementation of PON PAPUA.
Minister for Human Development and Culture Muhadjir Effendy on Kominfo stated that the achievements gained by athletes in the PON XX Papua show the progress of national sports development. “Starting from the opening (PON), the competition and everything went smoothly. The most important thing is our athletes gain achievements during Covid 19 pandemic. It simply shows progress in Indonesian sport.” he said after attending the Closing of PON XX Papua, at Lukas Enembe Stadium, Jayapura, Papua, Friday (10/15/2021).
